Our Mission

We are a cat and kitten rescue dedicated to saving as many lives as we can in Charleston, WV. But we cannot even begin to scratch the surface of saving them all. The ONLY SOLUTION is spaying and neutering. If you need help with this contact our group and we can advise you of low cost options.
More often than not, when we are contacted to take cats or kittens the answer will have to be no. We are a small non profit charity group with limited space. You will most likely be asked to post a picture of the cat on our page along with some details and your contact information. Please avoid taking cats to the animal shelter. They often do not have the room to take in cats and the likelihood of the cat staying healthy while there is not good.
Priority is given to kittens who have no chance of survival other than bottle feeding. Priority is also given to cats in extreme circumstances.
We generally operate on a very low budget with extremely high Vet bills because so many of the cats that we take in require surgery, hospitalization, and many rechecks with our Veterinarians. We often buy litter, food, and other supplies out of our own pockets.
We are registered with the state as a non-profit under IBKC, Inc. We also have a federal non-profit status under section 501 (c)(3). Your donations are tax deductible.
We appreciate those who support us and adopt from us. Thanks to all who step up and help us financially with crisis situations. We couldn't do it without you.
